Target

To enhance students’ basic competency in English.

To enhance students’ four English language skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.

To help to develop students’ generic skills – collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving, numeracy, self management, informative technology and study skills.

PLP-R/W (Primary Literacy Programme – Reading and Writing)

An integrated P.1 to P.3 English programmes in which students learn to read and write through chanting, singing and making things.

Reading Mums

With the help of EDB, we will have a group of Reading Mums this year again to read stories to our P.2 students every other week.

Buddy Reading (EDB)

With the help of the CCLC (Cheung Chau Learning Cycle), 6 reading sessions will be held on Wednesday afternoons throughout the year. We will have students from Cheung Chau Government Secondary School and Buddhist Wai Yan Memorial College to read books to our P.3 students.
